Solar and batteries - is now the time?
Event description
Repower Mornington Peninsula and the Australian Conservation Foundation are excited to co-host a community event.
With the new federal subsidy on home batteries as well as state rebates on solar panels, and the ever-increasing costs of electricity, is now finally the time to get your home hooked up to solar panels and a battery?
We are proud to host this info session to explain the latest costs and support available, to help you decide if it may be the right time for you to take this step.
An expert guest speaker will cover all the facts, followed by a brief overview of the ‘Repower and Save’ home electrification research tool and a Q and A at the end. You can also meet some of Repower’s trusted local business partners and members of the Peninsula Climate Alliance for a chat afterwards.
After a refreshment break and conversation time, at 5pm the Australian Conservation Foundation will screen a short film, Coral's Last Stand that focuses on the bigger picture of why decarbonisation is so vital to our environment and climate.
Repower has received funding support through the Community Electrification Engagement Program grant from the Victorian Government through Sustainability Victoria for this Solar and Battery information event.
Co-hosts: Repower Mornington Peninsula and Australian Conservation Foundation.
