What if weeds could become something beautiful?

In this relaxed workshop, textile artist Phoebe Hunter and environmental consultant Maddie Maguire will guide you through solar dyeing with coastal weeds while sharing insights about our coastal ecosystems. Together we’ll turn problem plants into colour, sip coffee, and explore how creativity can spark climate care. Materials provided, but please bring any glass jars you may have to turn them into dyeing vessels!

You will leave with your own selection of hand filled naturally dyed solar jars ready to develop over a week in a sunny spot at home. Learn a new skill that you can apply to all kinds of textiles and meet like minded community.
