Join us for our first live event of 2021. Our Solar My House info session is an easy way to find out about solar panels and batteries and have all your questions answered! Discover how to save money while saving the planet.
The event is hosted by volunteers from Zero Emissions Sydney North and Avalon's Our Blue Dot, two not-for-profit community groups that support practical action to reduce carbon emissions. Guest speakers are solar expert David Veal from Solarpro and Michael Regan, Northern Beaches Mayor and keen supporter of sustainability.
Our aim is to make your renewables journey as easy as possible!
When: Thursday, 3 June,
6.30 - 7.45pm (& option to stay longer for more questions!)
Where: "The Annexe", part of the Avalon Recreation Centre,
59 Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon, NSW 2107
"The Annexe" is a separate building located in Dunbar Park, opposite the Avalon Recreation Centre's main building. There is plenty of free parking on both sides of Dunbar Park. Our volunteers will be there to direct you.
Format: Presentation and Q&A
1. Introduction by Michael Regan and Zero Emissions Sydney North (brief)
2. Switch to a power company that supports renewables (brief)
3. Rooftop solar & batteries (60min including questions with solar expert)
4. Extra Q&A (for attendees who would like to stay on)
Bring: A recent power bill with your annual electricity usage (not necessary but good as a reference when looking at the size of the solar system required)
