We humbly invite you to join us for SOLSTICE: An Occult and Supernatural Art Show Experience, Under the Solstice Moon. 🌙 Following a successful year of sold-out shows, CONVERGE have returned with their highly-anticipated and biggest event to date. 

Falling on the evening of the winter solstice, prepare to be transported to a world of the esoteric and enchanted, where art, ritual, and performance collide in an immersive celebration on the longest night and darkest day of the year. ✨🌚

🔮 At a glance, you can expect:

  • An art exhibition featuring 50+ talented local artists

  • A never-before-seen SOLSTICE movement performance with live music ensemble 

  • Live entertainment from three incredible local bands

  • SOLSTICE-themed flash tattooing

  • Live tarot card reading

  • Slip away into another dimension inside our mini-cinema

  • Guests are invited to dress in their most enchanted Winter Solstice wear - think witchy, gothic and supernatural 

  • Stacks of original artwork and merch for sale made with love by local artists

  • Purchase drinks from the onsite bar and food trucks

WANING: The SOLSTICE Ritualistic Movement Experience

The June strawberry full moon will leave us plump with possibilities, while July's buck full moon waits for us to take those intentional steps into the remainder of the year. But between, we celebrate the longest night with the waning crescent moon. 

This Solstice, you can be guided by beings of moonbeam during a physical theatre performance that embraces the stage and spaces amongst the audience. These beings will help collect your desires and dreams alongside the releases you wish to burn away during the Yule festivities of this historic Sabbath.

Theatre performance directed by Eli Free - @ee__lie in collaboration with Fortuna Maxima - @fortunamaxima and Tai Kane-Potaka - @tai.nika, with live musical composition by Chiffon Magnifique - @chiffonmagnifique.

SOLSTICE delves into a dark and mystical world. Our artists will be creating raw and unfiltered works of art that contain:
Full-frontal nudity
Possible coarse language
Possible depictions of drug use
Gore and horror
Depictions and discussion of sex work

SOLSTICE is a photographed event. By attending, you consent to having your photo taken, which be published on social media.

Guests are also permitted and encouraged to take their own videos and photos at any time during the event.

Policy for purchasing original artwork at SOLSTICE

For the enjoyment of all guests, we ask that purchased art be left hanging until the event finishes.Upon purchase, your contact details including, name, phone number and email address will be recorded for the purpose of passing on your details to the artist to get in touch with you to organise the collection.

You're also welcome to take your new artwork home after 12am, at the discretion of the artist.
