Description

Hi, I’m Lil!

Over the past seven years I’ve been writing and shaping my own music, and I’m finally taking the leap towards releasing my first album. I will need a little help financially to achieve this, so I’m putting together a special fundraiser to help bring these songs into the world.

Join us on Sunday June 21, 2-5pm for "Winter Solstice & Songs". Live music, firelight, good food and community under a winter sky. We’ve got a diverse local lineup featuring Tim McMahon, Cody Munro-Moore, Neeyah and the Lillian McVeity band, with music flowing from the afternoon into the evening at the most beautiful location.

There’ll be fires burning to keep everyone warm and hot soup on offer, and the Bermagui Mudworks will be open through the afternoon serving coffee and selling handmade pottery.

Earlier this year, my band (Dave, Jay, Sats, Monte) and I spent a week at the beautiful Murrah Hall recording the foundations of the album with my amazing dad behind the desk recording it all. We’re now deep in the process of layering vocals, guitars and all the little details that are slowly turning it into something really special, and I honestly can’t wait to share it with you.

Bring a blanket or something comfy to sit on, rug up warm, and come celebrate the longest night of the year with us.

Tickets $30 - Kids free.

Thank you for supporting local music and helping this album come to life.

Lineup

  • Lillian McVeity

    Lillian McVeity

Lillian McVeity is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Far South Coast of New South Wales, blending alternative rock and folk into an intimate, atmospheric sound. Inspired by the rugged coastline of her home, her music combines layered harmonies, emotive songwriting, and cinematic guitars. Writing songs since age 13, Lillian explores themes of longing, self-discovery, and growing up through raw yet dynamic arrangements. Now performing with a full band, she is currently recording her debut album for release in November. The record leans further into alternative rock while holding onto the warmth and storytelling of folk, following performances at Wanderer Festival and Cobargo Folk Festival.

  • Tim McMahon

  • Cody Munro Moore

    Cody Munro Moore

Cody Munro Moore has done a lot of songwriting with different people over the years, recording albums with Big White, Concrete Sea, New Lovers and The Morning Star.

  • Neeyah

    Neeyah

Neeyah, who has spent the last year and a half recording and releasing her own music right from her bedroom is focused on bringing light to stigmatised topics and using music as a way to share awareness of issues that are sometimes hard to talk about. She relates to people in ways that are too often left untold. she is mostly self taught, she has learnt guitar, bass and piano, writing lyrics and musical elements, figuring out the expansive recording world and the process of releasing original music for all to enjoy.
