    Event description

We are excited to invite you to the Next SVP Denver Solution Session on October 10th from 9-11:30am at the Apprentice of Peace Youth OrganizationSVP Denver. We are, in collaborations with our Presenting Sponsor - the Prosperity Denver Fund (PDF), are excited to bring you an educational event to learn from them and other organizations working to make college and career training more accessible for all.

Currently, only about 45% of low-income Denver students seek to obtain a post-secondary degree or certificate. Thanks to Denver voters, Prosperity Denver Fund is a community investment that exists to increase access and completion of postsecondary pathways through partnerships with organizations such as Prodigy VenturesDenver Scholarship Foundation, and the Puksta Foundation. Together they are bringing forth innovative solutions to move the needle on the number of Denver students obtaining a postsecondary degree or certificate.

Join us on October 10th to understand the context of the postsecondary education landscape in Denver and learn how you can be involved in the solution.

    The Organizations:

Prosperity Denver Fund: A sales tax-funded organization that increases access to postsecondary education for Denver students and grows the city's workforce. With nearly $32 million distributed through 50 nonprofit partners to date, Prosperity Denver Fund has helped more than 20,000 students find the pathways to college and careers.

Prodigy Ventures: Through personal development and hands-on learning in a Prodigy enterprise, young adults build a foundation of mindsets and skills for sustainable lives, economic mobility and, most importantly, to go forth and enrich their city.

Denver Scholarship Foundation: DSF collaborates with Denver Public Schools (DPS) high school students, families, and partners statewide to increase access and completion of post-high school learning and expand generational exposure to career and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Puksta Foundation: The Puksta Foundation promotes civic engagement among students at five of Colorado's top universities by offering scholarships to students ready to get involved in causes on and beyond their campuses.
