Charlot Magayi - 2019 Waislitz Global Citizen Award prize winner
Charlot founded Mukuru Clean Stoves a fast-growing Kenyan social enterprise that reduces household air pollution, lowers fuel costs and improves health and safety for low income families.
Leigh Ewbank (pronounced “u-bank”) is a long-time campaigner at Friends of the Earth. He coordinated the successful community campaign for a Victorian Renewable Energy Target. Leigh and the FoE’s determined Act on Climate collective are leading the charge for the Andrews government to deliver science-based Emissions Reduction Targets this year and state state’s first Climate Budget.
Neil Morris is a Yorta Yorta person and an artist who uses his platform with project DRMNGNOW to raise awareness of the ongoing injustices that First Nations peoples of this land are subjected to. Neil's work extends out into community based action through various mediums which has a strong environmental/ Indigenous sovereignty, self determination, decolonisation and Indigenising focus.
