I felt so relaxed
"First time trying Soma Soften as I wanted to see what it was about and it was amazing. Everything was explained so clearly, it's a bit like a mix of mindfulness, stretching and movement therapy."

Soma Soften: A 4-Week Sunday Evening Reset
Rest. Release. Renew.
A slow, candlelit hour to end your Sunday feeling relaxed.
Soma Soften combines Hanna Somatics and yin yoga. Hanna Somatics uses slow guided movement to retrain how your brain controls muscle tension, so chronically tight muscles can let go and re-set. Yin yoga uses long supported floor holds to reach the connective tissue and fascia underneath. Both practices help your nervous system shift from stress mode into rest and done in this order, one builds on the other.
Each week we move through a different part of the body:
Week 1: Lower back and pelvis. Releasing the centre of gravity and building a foundation for the following weeks.
Week 2: Side body and hips. Finding rotational freedom and letting go of lateral tension.
Week 3: Glutes, hamstrings and quads. Grounding the lower body and releasing the patterns that keep us braced.
Week 4: Shoulders, neck and chest. Dropping the weight of the week and clearing space around your heart and head.
You're welcome. to come to all 4 or just try 1 class. The last events sold out and was waitlisted, so make sure to book ahead with your classes to secure your spots if you'd like to attend all of them.

Just yourself and a water bottle, mats are provided (unless you'd like to bring your own, feel free)
Anything you're comfortable to move in, or what you'd wear to a yoga/pilates/breathwork class.
No experience is needed, movements are guided and options are always offered. Modifications are offered for yin.
Please move within your own comfort and consult your healthcare provider if unsure, most movement is floor based.
First Trimester: Yes, you are welcome to attend, provided you have the all-clear from your doctor or midwife. Second & Third Trimester: This specific series is not recommended. Hanna Somatics requires lying flat on your back on the floor for extended periods, which can restrict blood flow and cause dizziness in later stages of pregnancy.
Because we have a set number of mats per session, passes are tied to the specific dates of this series and cannot be refunded or rolled over to a future month. However, your pass is fully transferable; if you have to miss a week, you are welcome to gift your spot to a friend!
Doors open 5 minutes before class starts. Because we are resetting the nervous system, we start exactly on time to protect the quiet atmosphere. We cannot accommodate late arrivals once the candlelit session begins, so please aim to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to settle in.

"The class helped me let go of tightness and stress by teaching me how to move naturally and consciously. It's really relaxing and I felt like it improved my posture."
These sessions were heavenly! So downregulating - I genuinly looked forward to the next weeks session. As someone who has suffered with chronic pain, these sessions were particularly helpful.
"The whole class was fantastic and I cannot wait for the next one and to put what I learned into practice at home."
