Hi, I’m Jess (she/they). I work as a yoga teacher & somatic movement facilitator. I am also an embodiment scholar & social researcher. I’m originally from Naarm (Melbourne). I have have lived & worked on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar in Walyalup (Fremantle, Western Australia) for more than a decade.

I believe that yoga should be available for every-body. I am committed to offering sessions that are affordable, practical & accessible to all. As a queer & neurodivergent person who has often felt out of place in yoga spaces, I am passionate about creating environments that are truly welcoming & inclusive for all.

I have taught yoga to people aged eight to 78 in a range of settings including private groups & 1:1, small to large studio groups, community yoga, & as part of a prison rehabilitation program.

I hold a Ph.D. in Media & Communication (specialising in safety & embodiment), along with a Research Master's degree in Gender Studies. I have been an interdisciplinary teaching & research academic for 15 years. I am a Research Fellow in the School of Education at Edith Cowan University. My current research spans Education, Gender Studies, Digital Cultures & Criminology.
