Holding space is more than the techniques we use. It is shaped by our capacity to remain present, recognise what is unfolding, attune to another person, and respond with care and discernment.

Through a blend of online learning and immersive in-person practice, you'll explore the relationship between the body, nervous system, emotional experience, and somatic awareness, while developing a deeper understanding of how your own state and capacity influence the space you hold.

What will you explore?

1. TRAUMA-INFORMED PRACTICE

Explore the foundations of trauma-informed space holding, including safety, trustworthiness, transparency, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.

Learn how these principles can be integrated into the way you communicate, facilitate, and respond to the people you work with.

2. NERVOUS SYSTEM & BODY PATTERNING

Develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between the nervous system, body patterns, breath, posture, movement, and emotional experience.

Explore how to recognise signs of activation, build your own capacity, and develop greater awareness of what may be unfolding in the body.

3. SOMATIC SPACE HOLDING

Explore attunement, presence, consent, touch, and embodied communication.

Develop practical tools for working with the body and responding to the person in front of you with greater discernment, rather than relying solely on techniques or predetermined outcomes.

4. DAILY PRACTICE & RITUALITY

Explore the role of personal practice, ritual, self-awareness, and embodiment in the development of a space holder.

CLARA MARRI

Bodywork Therapist, Somatic Educator & Facilitator integrating Breathwork, Bodywork, Movement, and Energy Work to support nervous system regulation, embodiment, and deeper connection with the body. Blending science-backed techniques with ancient wisdom, Clara is passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies, cultivate nervous system resilience, and navigate transformation with greater awareness and trust. Her work is grounded in creating safe, trauma-informed spaces and raising the standard of embodied and ethical space holding.

SIMON YUEN

Breathwork Educator & Facilitator, Sound Healer, and Movement Coach with over two decades of experience exploring human potential through wellness, embodiment, and performance. Simon specialises in helping people harness the power of breath, blending sound to regulate the nervous system, release stored trauma, and unlock deeper states of awareness and healing. Passionate about creating safe, attuned spaces, he is devoted to raising the standard of embodied and ethical space holding through presence, self-awareness, and nervous system intelligence.

Study Mode

A combination of online pre-learning and a 2-day immersive in-person training.

In-Person Training

Investment: $850 AUD

Your place is secured with a $250 deposit and completion of the application questionnaire.

The remaining balance of $600 AUD is due 4 weeks before the in-person immersion begins.
