Event description

INVITATION

We invite your wild hearts and soaring souls to this Beltane Dance Celebration with Sarsha Hope and Bass Chakra.

The Raglan Town Hall welcomes us to dance out over the ocean as the sun sets, to participate in ritual space with the elements.

INTENTION

Connect with the surging, lusty growth of spring to nourish our hopes and dreams

Honour our own inner winters with letting go, bursting through to renewal

Reclaim our ancestral roots from the consumerism of Halloween

Move into the season of fertility with somatic ecstatic dance

Cleanse ourselves with water, Warm ourselves with fire

Weave the threads of healthy, thriving community

Feel the bass, bathe in the goddess guidance

WHAT

The recipe is simple: No booze, no shoes, epic music and a beautiful group of humans.

Somatic dance is a free form movement journey, held in a safe and sacred container. A space to gather and reclaim the joy and release of dancing in a non-judgmental space.

WHEN

Sunday 5th November. 7pm.

WHO

Sarsha Hope, Portal Creator

Sarsha is a teacher of teachers and has over 20 years experience as a facilitator, yoga teacher, embodiment guide and ecstatic dance space holder. She has held many teacher training's, retreats and workshops here in Aotearoa and overseas and has a gift of bringing people into connection with themselves, each other and the earth. Sarsha creates brave, tender, inclusive, safe and fun spaces for our hearts to unfold, heal and embrace our most empowered soul self.

Bass Chakra, Vibe Architect:

Explore the lush depths of low frequency sensuality

Express through physical form, make sculptures with spacial fluency

Contribute your energy to the space with each curated wave of vibrations

Drawing on decades of selecting and collecting sexy grooves, the music alias Bass Chakra emerged as a softer, more organic version of Mufasa’s boombastic bass baddassery.

Low slung beats and moody basslines. Strength. Passion. Clarity. Vitality.

Vocal reverence and sacred elements. Sensual. Intentional. Fierce. Lush.
