The Introspection Somatic Ecstatic Dance

As the year speeds up, the season calls for us to slow down.

The Introspection is an invitation to soften inward - to drop beneath the noise of the mind and into the wisdom of the body.

Through somatic ecstatic dance, we journey into the deeper layers of our being. The unseen parts. The tender places. The emotions, stories and sensations quietly waiting to be felt, witnessed and moved.

Together, we gather in community and are guided by a live soundscape designed to nourish the nervous system, awaken presence, and support deep inner exploration.

Somatic Ecstatic Dance is a guided free form movement journey, inspired by somatic dance, ecstatic dance and 5 Rhythms.

Whether you're new to dance or a seasoned mover, this event is for anyone seeking freedom, connection, and authentic expression.

Held in a non-judgemental space where all of you is welcome, no prior dance experience is necessary and all bodies are welcome.

The recipe is simple: No booze, shoes or talking on the dance, epic music and a beautiful group of humans.

Wear clothes you are comfortable moving in (layers are great), bring a drink bottle and a drop or two of curiosity!

The location is at a new temple space, at a private location, 30 mins north of Dunedin (details will be sent upon registration).

We welcome you any time from 6.45pm for a 7pm start.

This dance will be led by Lili Eve certified Somatic Dance DJ and Facilitator, dance floor activator and container creator.
