Most of us spend a lot of time in our heads thinking, planning, doing and getting on with things.

Somatic Inquiry is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with your body. To notice what you’re feeling, what’s moving through you, and what might be asking for your attention.
Through Somatic Dance, intuitive movement, breath and meditation, we explore a different theme each week and see what arises through the body.
There’s no choreography and no expectation of how you should move. You can be curious, playful, still, expressive or quiet. It’s about finding your own way of moving and listening.
We’ll explore some of the patterns, beliefs and conditioning we carry, and create space to experience them differently - not by trying to work everything out, but by bringing awareness to what is happening in the body.
Each session begins and ends in circle, giving us time to arrive together, create connection and share something of our experience.
Over the six weeks, we have the opportunity to get to know ourselves, and each other, a little more deeply.

Come as you are. There’s nothing you need to know or be able to do.
Just bring yourself and a willingness to explore.

Six-week term:
14 October - 21 October - 28 October - 4 November - 11 November - 18 November
Each session is 1 hour 45 minutes, giving us plenty of time to arrive, move, explore and come back together in circle.
This is a closed group, with commitment to the full six-week term rather than a drop-in class. This helps us build trust and connection within the group and allows the work to deepen naturally over the weeks.

What You’ll Experience
Over these six weeks, you’ll be invited into a space where you can slow down, soften, feel and listen allowing your body to become a place of connection, wisdom and discovery.
- Intuitive Somatic Dance
Move without choreography or expectation, following the impulses, sensations and rhythms of your own body. There is no right way to move only your way.
- Deepening Body Connection
Develop a more intimate relationship with your body through breath, sensation, stillness, movement and deep listening.
- Exploration of Patterns & Beliefs
Gently bring awareness to the patterns, conditioning and beliefs that may be influencing how you move through life and explore what becomes possible when you meet them through the body.
- Space to Release & Shift
Allow emotions, tension and held energy to move through you rather than needing to figure everything out with the mind. Movement becomes a pathway for expression, release and transformation.
- Meditation & Embodied Awareness
Come into stillness, presence and deeper awareness through guided meditation and somatic practices.
- Sacred Circle & Connection
Begin and end each session in circle arriving together, sharing what is alive for you, and being witnessed within a supportive community of women.
- A Different Theme Each Week
Each week offers a new doorway into your body, inviting you to explore different aspects of yourself and gradually deepen your embodied awareness over the six-week journey.
- A Community Between Sessions
Your private WhatsApp group offers an opportunity to stay connected, share reflections and be part of the wider Somatic Inquiry community throughout the term.
Come exactly as you are.
You don't need to know how to dance.
You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to have any previous experience.
You simply need your body, a willingness to listen, and the curiosity to discover what she might have to say.

**Optional Somatic Energy Therapy Sessions

For those who feel called to explore the work on a more individual level, there is an option to add one-to-one Somatic Energy Therapy sessions alongside the six-week journey.

These sessions offer dedicated space to work with what may be arising for you personally and to go deeper into your own process.

These sessions are completely optional and are not required to participate in Somatic Inquiry.

Somatic Energy Therapy (SET) is a body-based therapeutic approach that works with the connection between the body, emotions, beliefs and lived experience. When we include the body, we include the whole person. Through mindful touch, body awareness and enquiry, SET follows what the body is communicating, bringing awareness to patterns and experiences that may sit beneath our conscious understanding. Rather than forcing change, the practitioner listens to and follows what emerges, creating the conditions for the person’s own process to unfold. This can support deeper awareness and meaningful change that can be felt and embodied, rather than simply understood. These sessions can be in person or online, using the power of ZOOM we connect over time and space to reach the same levels of transformation as we would in person.
