A 6-week journey into deeper connection with your body

What if you simply gave yourself some space to listen?

Most of us spend a lot of time in our heads - thinking, planning, doing and getting on with things.

Somatic Inquiry is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with your body. To notice what you’re feeling, what’s moving through you, and what might be asking for your attention.

Now you can join Somatic Inquiry from wherever you are, through a live online gathering on Zoom.

Over six weeks, we’ll explore a different theme each week through Somatic Dance, intuitive movement, breath, meditation and deep listening.

There’s no choreography and no expectation of how you should move. You can be curious, playful, expressive or quiet. It’s about finding your own way of moving and listening.

We’ll explore some of the patterns, conditioning and beliefs we carry, and create space to experience them differently - not by trying to work everything out, but by bringing awareness to what is happening in the body.

A space to connect

Although we’re meeting online, this is still a shared space.

We’ll begin and end each session together, creating time to arrive, connect, reflect and share something of our experience.

You’ll also be invited into a private WhatsApp group for the six weeks, giving us a place to stay connected between sessions, share reflections and support the sense of community that grows throughout the journey.

This is a closed group, with commitment to the full six-week term rather than a drop-in class. This allows trust and connection to develop and gives the work space to deepen over the six weeks.

You don't need any dance experience

You don't need to be flexible, experienced in movement or know anything about Somatic Dance.

You simply need a space where you can move comfortably and a willingness to explore.

You can participate in your own home, in your own way, with your own boundaries and choices respected.

Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive an invitation to the private WhatsApp group. Each session will be recorded, replay uploaded to the chat group and available for 5days.

Just bring yourself, your body and a willingness to listen.

**Optional Somatic Energy Therapy Sessions

For those who feel called to explore the work on a more individual level, there is an option to add one-to-one Somatic Energy Therapy sessions alongside the six-week journey.

These sessions offer dedicated space to work with what may be arising for you personally and to go deeper into your own process.

These sessions are completely optional and are not required to participate in Somatic Inquiry.

What You’ll Experience
Over these six weeks, you’ll be invited into a space where you can slow down, soften, feel and listen allowing your body to become a place of connection, wisdom and discovery.
- Intuitive Somatic Dance
Move without choreography or expectation, following the impulses, sensations and rhythms of your own body. There is no right way to move only your way.
- Deepening Body Connection
Develop a more intimate relationship with your body through breath, sensation, movement and deep listening.
- Exploration of Patterns & Beliefs
Gently bring awareness to the patterns, conditioning and beliefs that may be influencing how you move through life and explore what becomes possible when you meet them through the body.
- Space to Release & Shift
Allow emotions, tension and held energy to move through you rather than needing to figure everything out with the mind. Movement becomes a pathway for expression, release and transformation.
- Meditation & Embodied Awareness
Come into stillness, presence and deeper awareness through guided meditation and somatic practices.
- Sacred Circle & Connection
We end each session together, with the invitation to share what is alive for you, and be witnessed within a supportive community of women.
- A Different Theme Each Week
Each week offers a new doorway into your body, inviting you to explore different aspects of yourself and gradually deepen your embodied awareness over the six-week journey.
- A Community Between Sessions
Your private WhatsApp group offers an opportunity to stay connected, share reflections and be part of the wider Somatic Inquiry community throughout the term.

You simply need your body, a willingness to listen, and the curiosity to discover what she might have to say.

**Somatic Energy Therapy (SET) is a body-based therapeutic approach that works with the connection between the body, emotions, beliefs and lived experience. When we include the body, we include the whole person. Through mindful touch, body awareness and enquiry, SET follows what the body is communicating, bringing awareness to patterns and experiences that may sit beneath our conscious understanding. Rather than forcing change, the practitioner listens to and follows what emerges, creating the conditions for the person’s own process to unfold. This can support deeper awareness and meaningful change that can be felt and embodied, rather than simply understood. These sessions can be in person or online, using the power of ZOOM we connect over time and space to reach the same levels of transformation as we would in person.
