Somatic Movement Labs: Body-Mind Centering® Practice

Body-Mind Centering® (BMC®) is an integrated and embodied approach to movement, the body and consciousness, developed by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. An accessible practice that involves guided movement improvisation, and draws on anatomy, physiology and developmental movement principles. With explorations that invite an inner attending, being with a sense of what is, and exploring what is possible. .

Each class is its own unique exploration, with an overarching theme carried through each term. We combine individual and group movement improvisations, supported partnering activities, and reflective practices.

We move, we rest, we laugh, we breathe.

Suited to movers, or people that would like to move more in a safe and supported space. No dance or movement experience necessary.

There will be 2 classes a week offered that will explore different material:

Sundays 9am - 10.15am
Term 1 Commencing 2nd February - 9 week term
Exploring our Organs: Inner Landscapes of Support

Mondays 9am - 10.15am
Term 1 Commencing 3rd February - 9 week term
Exploring Emergence: Developmental Patterns of Movement

$90/$135 for the term.

Free first trial class

You will need to book in for your free first trial class for Sunday 2nd February or Monday 3rd February.
