I am so looking forward to offering Somatics & Dance-Movement Therapy as part of this weekend of joy.

Workshop description:

This workshop invites us to explore body-based expressivity using Somatics and Dance-Movement Therapy. Movement will be guided and self directed, dancing independently and together. This offering invites us to enjoy being curious, find inspiration and feel support from the group process. You are welcome to share your authentic self within a psychotherapeutic experience that is safely held and judgement-free. Fostering social well being this creative workshop is about embodied expression and moving in new ways, and we will start by gently dipping our toes in.

• Adults 18+.

• No dance or movement experience required.

• Come exactly as you are. 

The facilitator:

Helen Ilich 

Somatics and Dance-Movement (Psycho)Therapist and multi-disciplinary Movement Coach. My credentials and experience include a Graduate Diploma of Somatics and Dance-Movement Therapy amongst a spectrum of movement disciplines. I bring artistry, playfulness and diverse perspectives into the therapeutic movement space that I hold for others. I am excited to be amidst the growing interest, awareness and energy that supports linking creative arts and health. I embrace the opportunity to share movement with the Wellness Centre Port Stephens community.
