Event description
SomerNetworking offers a unique opportunity for professional community members to connect with Senior Years students. This initiative aims to help students understand workplace requirements, enhance their conversational skills, and build valuable connections.
In 2024, we are excited to host a stand-up Networking Breakfast. During this event, students will practice self-introductions and introducing others, engage in polite discussions about the professional world, and interact with industry professionals of their choice. They will learn the art of "working the room" and how to gracefully exit conversations.
Throughout the networking breakfast, mentors will guide the students in developing their thoughts and questions about work and their chosen fields of interest, leveraging the mentors' expertise.
