The wonderful Lucy Wise will be teaching a workshop at the Newstead Hub Main Gallery: “Song Accompaniment on Ukulele or Guitar”.

In this workshop, Lucy will guide the group in learning a song with some fingerpicking and strumming patterns. She will share some tips for technique on either instrument, on supporting the groove and story of the song, and on bringing more ease to singing & playing at the same time.

Suited to beginner-intermediate players.

Lucy Wise is an award-winning musician with a voice that pulls hearts out from the shadows. After winning Best Folk Work at the 2023 Music Victoria Awards, Lucy has been touring her new EP, Yearning.
