Song Club feat. Tailor Made, Havenir & The Violet Bard
Event description
Song Club champions the song. Original music, performed by the artist. Every Sunday 3 of Sydney's up & coming songwriters will perform upstairs at The Friend In Hand Hotel, Glebe.
Tailor Made - is Juliet Tayor, a young Australian musician based in Sydney and the Hunter Valley. Juliet comes from a very musical family, with her sister playing the bass on most of her tracks and her dad absolutely shredding the guitar. Juliet is a product of this vibrant environment and aims to bring an element of love and fun into all of her tracks. She is also an aspiring author, and has written two books as of 2021. Her writing helps her to mix poetry into music, and her lyrics are always carefully beautiful.
Havenir - Havenir is the latest music project of Joshua Vincent, a musician and songwriter who has been writing and performing original music, as well as covers, to audiences since the age of 15. Joshua took a bit of a hiatus from performing regularly while he juggled family and work commitments, but in the past few years has returned as a solo musician to continue performing original music and covers in a stripped-back, acoustic set. Most of the gigs over the past few years have been performing for crowds at local markets, but Joshua has been adding new original songs to his repertoire during this time with the aim of pursuing opportunities to perform solo gigs with a full set of original songs.
The Violet Bard - Born and raised in Tamworth, the Violet Bard is a Sydney based singer/songwriter. Through writing her own music and songs, she has crafted her own unique style that she calls Faerie Folk. An avid lover of old myths and tales, the Violet Bard mixes in elements of lyrical storytelling to take the listener on a journey through the music.
