Song Sale is an evening of impromptu songwriting and hilarity. For the low low price of $5, you can commission a song on the topic of your choice, and our team of writers will find somewhere to write it so it can be performed live before the evening is through. 

While you wait for your masterpiece in the making, there’ll always be something on the stage to entertain you, ready to stop a moment’s notice when a song is complete.  

Song Sale originated in Wellington in 2011, co-created by Troubadette and Leo Lennox. Over the years it spread to Auckland and Dunedin, and though it’s been dormant for some time, it’s rising from the ashes to wreak havoc on the Ōtautahi comedy scene.
