Introducing Song Weavers - A singing tapestry of melodic mantra and affirmation.

Are you seeking a community of like-hearted women? Do you desire to develop an intimate relationship with your voice? Would you like to embody your affirmation practice more deeply?

Spanning five thoughtfully crafted sessions, you will be invited to experience the simple practice of singing melodic mantra and affirmation. This is a research-based practice that invites complete integration of each affirmation to the human experience. When we sing, our brain is activated in a way that allows us to remember the deeply embodied messages when we wish to draw upon them. Music therapy research confirms, the singing of affirmation is even more powerful for us as humans than speaking or reading the same words.

No previous singing experience necessary. All of our vocal work is done together and within the safety of the group. We warmly welcome you into this space.

Please note:

Commitment to the whole series offers the most value and allows time to regularly step into this practice. However, individual sessions are also of great benefit, and may suit those wanting a space to just "pop in". You're invited to arrive 10-15 minutes before we commence each session, to allow time to enjoy a refreshment and settle into the space before we begin.

This is a women's-only event with capacity for up to 8 participants, so as to allow for an intimate and deeply connected space. Due to the reflective nature of our sessions, please understand that this is not an appropriate environment for babies and children. Song Circles also hold sessions on Tuesdays, where children and families are all welcome to come along and participate.
