Join the Song & Sound Circle with Nienke & David, a musical couple, who share their original mantra music, accompanied by acoustic guitar and harmonium... followed by a soul nourishing sound bath.

Their gentle voices and heart warming harmonies, soothe the soul, and create space for deep healing, self-expression, and connection.

Unlike a music performance, everyone is encouraged to join in, creating a sense of oneness, unity, community and belonging, through the universal language of sound.

Mantras are a tool to quiet the mind. A mantra is a sound, word or phrase, with spiritual significance, that is chanted, usually repetitively. Each mantra induces specific vibrations in the mind. We will chant mantras from different traditions, each with their own intention and healing vibration.

The repetitive chanting of a mantra helps mental, physical and spiritual health. Prefer to listen instead? Just thinking a mantra helps to focus the attention on the inside and reach a state of deep rest.

Sound therapy, also known as sound healing or vibrational medicine, is an ancient practice that employs the vibration of musical instruments, as well as the human voice, to trigger the relaxation response and activate the body’s natural healing abilities.

It allows us to go deeper into meditation, and bring balance and harmony back into the whole body.

You are invited to lie down and receive the healing benefits of the didgeridoo, Crystal & Tibetan bowls, vocal toning, chimes, rainstick, flute, kalimba, drum, and more... taking you on an internal journey.

The 'Song & Sound Circles' are accessible to all ages and all levels of experience, and focuses on multiple levels of well-being.

More about Nienke & David:

Nienke is a highly qualified and professional Art & Sound Therapist, Nada (sound) Yoga teacher, and singer-songwriter, with over 17 years of experience, running workshops, events, retreats and performances in the Netherlands (her birth country) and Australia. She has played solo, as a duo, and part of a band, with renowned musicians like Kate B, Chris Lane, and Sacred Earth.

Her partner David Clayton has played the guitar for 40 years and is a master didgeridoo player. He has facilitated chanting with whale retreats, played music for sacred events and medicine circles, and has toured Europe and Australia with Kevin James Carroll, sharing his songs and ancient mantras from different traditions.
