Songcraft in the Round – Songwriters Series curated by Alex Radus, featuring Meghan Cary and Bryan Titus
Event description
Songcraft in the Round is a quarterly concert series curated by Lehigh Valley-based singer/songwriter Alex Radus. The Songcraft series introduces the next generation of “must hear” up-and-coming songwriters to Godfrey’s stage. Each concert features Alex and two touring/regional emerging artists, performing their original music in-the-round and exploring the craft of songwriting. Expect an unforgettable night of compelling story and song, intimate performances, and a backstage pass to the art of songcraft.
Our Rosewood Artists are notable, as their ongoing presence reflects an enduring artistic kinship with Godfrey Daniels.
MEGHAN CARY

Meghan Cary’s award-winning songs, smoky voice, and masterful storytelling inspire connection and community, earning her Billboard Magazine’s Critic’s Choice Award and comparisons to Melissa Etheridge and Brandi Carlile. Her latest anthem “Raise Your Voice” has become a rallying cry for hope and unity. A favorite at festivals like the Philadelphia Folk Festival and Black Bear Americana, Cary has shared the stage with Christine Lavin and Sloan Wainwright; supported Joan Osborne, Lucinda Williams, Chris Smither, and Little Feat among others. An actor and playwright, she brings humor, heart, and courage to everything she does—from her music to her one-woman show, On the Way to the Waterfall. Her mantra: “If you don’t know the words… sing louder.” Meghan will perform with Peter Farrell at Songcraft.
BRYAN TITUS
facebook.com/BryanTitusMusic
Bryan Titus grew up like a weed from the tangled and overgrown history of Bluegrass and American Roots Music. Recently touted as a purveyor of "Postmodern Barn Dance", Bryan writes & performs toe-tapping tunes that evoke themes & melodies of yesterday with a pinch of modern irony. Bryan Titus draws heavily on lessons learned on his 2013 “Through Hike” of the Appalachian Trail, especially the music he picked up in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, & Virginia. His vocals are both smooth & rough, his guitar playing simultaneously elegant & primitive. Bryan has 3 professional recordings with a new full length album to be released early next year. He has opened for artists such as Keb Mo, The White Buffalo, Paul Thorn, Lissie, Alber Lee, Monte Montgomery, & Andrew Duhon. He has appeared at Live Oak Music Festival, Topa Mountain Folk Festival, Black Bear Americana & was selected to play the emerging artist stage at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival 2025.
ALEX RADUS

Alex Radus is a “versatile crooner” (UMC Nashville) and “master guitarist” (Courier News), but his songwriting takes center stage. Known for his signature “genre whiplash,” he blends whimsical and poignant storytelling with an eclectic mix of Americana, swing, blues, and folk. Alex has opened for Richie Havens, Darrell Scott, and Laurie MacAllister, and performed with John Gorka as part of the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band. Alex was selected as a 2024 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist, earning a “Most Wanted” spot on the 2025 Main Stage. Awarded a youth scholarship to the Augusta Heritage Center, Alex honed his distinctive fingerstyle guitar and deep appreciation for traditional music. As John Gorka says, “Alex Radus is a remarkable artist… surely worth going out of your way to hear.”
