Songs & Score: Inside the Craft

Songwriters of North America (SONA) is proud to present Songs & Score: Inside the Craft, a free, one-night-only event celebrating the music of this television awards season, hosted by composer Mark Rivers! Join us for moderated conversations featuring breakdowns of your favorite songs and scores from television hits, as well as a few stripped-down performances. Plus, arrive early for a chance to connect with the talent, hosts, and SONA community during a networking hour ahead of the show. 

Featuring musical breakdowns from:

• Ian Arber (Composer of Drops of God)

• Jeff Russo and Paul Doucette (Songwriters of For All Mankind’s “A New Life”)

• Segun Akinola (Composer of Kingdom)

The night will be moderated by several SONA leaders, including:

• Michelle Lewis – Award-winning songwriter and composer behind music from Cher, Little Mix, Doc McStuffins, and Kindergarten: The Musical, and co-founder of SONA

• Kay Hanley – Peabody Award-winning songwriter, singer, best known as the lead vocalist of Letters to Cleo, and co-founder of SONA

• Autumn Rowe – GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter, producer, DJ, and vocal coach, renowned for her work on Jon Batiste’s We Are

• Jeannie Lurie – Emmy-winning songwriter behind Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, Good Luck Charlie, and Shake It Up

• Mark Rivers – Composer behind Big Mouth, Mary Shelley's Frankenhole, and Anomalisa

• Siddhartha Khsola – Emmy-winning composer of Only Murders In The Building, This Is Us, Paradise, Imperfect Women, and the animated film Swapped

• Taura Stinson – Award-nominated songwriter, composer, and librettist behind Thelma the Unicorn, Rio 2, CARMEN, Cruella, and more
