Thank you to the generous support of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Industries, Regional Sounds songwriting facilitator Sarah is teaming up with Laura from Jar of Arts to deliver a 6-week FREE songwriting and self-expression program.

This series of workshops is designed for young people aged 11-16 who have an interest in and/or experience in playing music creative writing, and will bring playful focus on creativity, self-expression and having fun creating.

Our songwriting and self-expression program is about young people's exploration of their creative selves and finding the confidence to share it!

By playing around with creative writing techniques and musical experimentation in a casual, safe, fun way, we will create a safe, supported environment which allows participants to find their unique perspectives and what they want to say through their creative works.

They will also gain education on the techniques needed to write, play and perform their song, musical piece or poem with the option to perform it at the end of the 6 weeks.

In order to get the most out of this program, we recommend registering for all 6 weeks and due to limited numbers available and ask that you register only if you intend to attend!
