Sonic and Visual Collage with Julia

Perfect for 8-12 year olds

Join artist Julia Drouhin for this "sonic coat of arms" workshop! We'll explore collage both on paper and as sound! Make your own personal coat of arms on paper as well as a musical score we can play together at the end.

You will learn to:

• Think about your family/personal story and how to express it.
• Play with collage and image-making
• Make a score to play basic music together, and manipulate sound devices (including your voice if you want to!) 
• Work together with others to create a collective ephemeral improvised orchestra!

When: 

• Saturday 25th January, 10am-2pm in The Art Room @ Kickstart Arts

What to bring:

• Lunch, snacks and a drink
• Parents or guardians are welcome to attend part or all of the workshop
