Sonic Compass: Performance

A 40-minute live performance within the Sonic Compass—a dialogue between composer and sculpture, the liquid and the rendered. Using acoustic and electric guitars, effects, and real-time sound processing, this performance will extend an invitation to the artist on the drift: to listen deeply, to locate ourselves through resonance, and to imagine new ways of being in sonic relationship with the environment.

Cameron Deyell is a composer, performer and curator whose work spans recorded albums, live performance, contemporary dance, and screen. His practice integrates improvisation, collaboration and technology with advanced recording techniques to create music that is expansive and otherworldly.
