Event description
The Sonic Poetry Festival Opening Night will present a diverse line-up of some of the most exciting poets on the Melbourne/Naarm poetry scene.
The featured poets will be nominated by conveners from Melbourne's grassroots poetry community. Poetry that sounds like all of us.
We're excited to present our features:
- The 2023 Slamalamadingdong winning team Jason Voss, Hayley Ricketson and champion Lane Milburn!
- Caz Masel!
- Simone Spittle!
- Thabani Tshuma!
- Tony Birch!
Doors will open at 6pm, for a *strict* 6.30pm start. If you arrive after the event start, you may be delayed from entry until a suitable break in the performance.
Event has no allocated seating.
