After a two year hiatus, Sonik Tonik returns to Ink to celebrate Scorpio season, and Cyril Orson’s birthday. Dedicated to providing a safe environment that keeps the floor humming all night long, we are back with another energy-fuelled night of rocking good times on the cards.

To celebrate in proper style Sonik Tonik mainstays,COMMUNICATE, are joined by the dynamic duo Sarah² (Mamadafunk and MissB). 

Mamadafunk and MissB teamed up and unleashed Sarah Squared (Sarah²) at the Brazen pop up in The Mount earlier this year. Their set was so successful, they’ve decided to make it an ongoing thing. 

With roots planted firmly in the UK funk and disco scene, and a passion for storytelling with her infectious beats, Mamadafunk knows exactly how to get a dancefloor moving. 

MissB has played at more events and festivals than you can shake a sword at, and her talent in the studio has led to multiple collaborations with both local and international artists. 

Each a well established scene-stealer in their own right, together as Sarah² they are a force to be reckoned with in New Zealand underground house and techno.

Sonik Tonik operators, COMMUNICATE, have gone from strength to strength over the last few years. With upcoming events across NZ, nights they are running at an array of Auckland venues and festival season looming, the pair have honed their sound and are ready to rumble.

With each act playing a 3 hour set, this will be a party not to be missed.
