Sons of the West - St Albans
Event description
What is Sons of the West?
Sons of the West is a FREE 10-week health program for men over 18 who live and work in the West. The program aims to provide participants with the tools, knowledge and access to experts to improve their health and wellbeing in a supportive environment.
This year will mark 10 years of Sons of the West which has been able to help empower thousands of men to make their physical, mental and social health a priority and we hope it can do the same for you!
What to Expect:
Each week, for 10-weeks, you will meet in your local community group for two hours where you will:Â
- Hear from a range of guest presenters who will lead interactive discussions on various health topics such as cooking, mental fitness, health screenings and more.
- Participate in some fun, group-based exercise, with our supportive exercise team offering options for all fitness levels and abilities!
The program is FREE thanks to support from our major partner WorkSafe Victoria and program partners cohealth, Watergardens and the Victorian State Government. We are also proud to deliver the St Albans Sons of the West program in partnership with Brimbank City Council.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to pick up some handy tips to improve your health, meet other men in the community, and have a few laughs while you’re at it, then come along and try the 2024 Sons of the West Program.
When and where:
In Brimbank, the St Albans session will be delivered from 6:30pm - 8:30pm starting on Wednesday 6th March. Taking a week off for Easter, the program will conclude on Thursday 13th May.Â
