Sony - Portrait Workshop
Join Ted's Camera Stores and Sony Australia for an exciting workshop for photographers looking to dive into the realm of outdoor portraiture. In this workshop, Sony Advocate Clyde Vaughan, will teach you how to capture people using available natural light, how to connect with your subject, and composition fundamentals.
Reflectors will be provided courtesy of Lastolite (Manfrotto) & Phottix for customers to use as part of this workshop.
This is a great opportunity for photographers to build on the right foundations in outdoor portraiture.
Two models will be provided as subjects for this workshop.
Schedule
7.00am - 7.30am: Arrival/Sign in, Introductions and overview of workshop
7.30am - 7.45am: Learn about using available light in portraiture, what to look out for, how to connect with your subject and composition fundamentals
7.45am - 9.00am: Practical application of learnings
9.00am - 10.00am: Breakfast provided by Sony
You will learn:
- Ideal camera settings and equipment required for portraiture
- How to connect with subjects
- Composition
- How to confidently capture portraits
What to bring:
- Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!)
Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares just in case
Sony will provide a range of cameras for you to test and try on the day - Memory card so you can keep your photos at the end of workshop
