Khu Khu is excited to collaborate with Mudita for a special afternoon of food and storytelling. Founded by Sonya, Mudita is an Auckland-based plant-based bakery known for its handcrafted desserts that ensure everyone feels included—now proudly serving from Hobsonville and Takapuna, after starting in Malaysia.

Menu

  • Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum)
    A refreshing mix of crunchy green papaya, cherry tomatoes, and a tangy, spicy dressing—perfectly balancing sweet, sour, and heat.
  • Tom Yum Soup
    A bold and aromatic hot and sour soup made with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal, paired with fresh vegetables and oyster mushrooms.
  • Eggplant Lui Suan
    Crispy eggplant tossed with refreshing Thai herbs like lemongrass and basil, topped with cashew nuts.
  • Cendol Panna Cotta
    A refreshing dessert featuring coconut, gula melaka, and pandan flavours.
  • Mango Sticky Rice Cheesecake
    A roasted coconut cookie base topped with sticky coconut rice, mango cheesecake, and a salted coconut sauce.
  • Kumara Cake with Feijoa Custard & Crumble
    Moist kumara cake topped with creamy feijoa custard and a crunchy crumble.
