Thankyou for booking tickets for Sophie's Patch Open Garden. We are really looking forward to seeing you. There are a few things we would like you to know about COVID, what to wear and bring, what is new, and refunds.

COVID

We follow a Covid Safe Plan for this event and ask you to comply with any requests on the day including maintaining social distancing where possible, mask wearing in compliance with SA Health requirements and complying with density limits in different parts of the garden.

Please do not come along if you have any symptoms of Covid, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has Covid. In this instance, please contact us for a refund up to 24 hours before the event.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING

Please wear closed shoes suitable for walking around a rural property with some steep, unsealed sections. While extremely unlikely we would also hate you to encounter a snake without shoes!

Autumn is traditionally a time of nice weather, but you can never be sure. Please check the forecast for Mount Barker on the Bureau of Meteorology website before coming and dress accordingly. Mount Barker can be much cooler, windier and warmer than Adelaide.

DRINKS

We have tea and plunger coffee, and cool drinks available from Sophie's Cafe located at the house and a Coffee Van making coffee. Please bring your own, full water bottles.

CAMERA

Bring your camera and take lots of photos!

PHONE WITH QR READER

Throughout the garden are some audio files of Sophie explaining different parts of the garden that you can listen to. You will need a phone with a QR reader and ideally earphones.

SPENDING MONEY

Once again we will have fabulous nurseries, garden art and stalls for shopping.

FOOD

Please pre order your lunch and cake boxes. We will only have a very limited number available for purchase on the day.

You are of course welcome to bring your own lunch, particularly if you have any food requirements or allergies.

REFUNDS

Entrance Tickets:

Will be refunded up to the day prior to the event if the event is not sold out.

Can be given to another person to use. Please ask them to let gate volunteers know so that the name can be changed for contact tracing.

Food Tickets:

As we are catering for the Open Garden we have less flexibility for refunding these tickets.

They will be refunded up to the 12th April.

Requests for refunds after that time will be at our discretion.

Once again my family, our volunteers and I look forward to seeing you at Sophie's Patch for our Spring Open Garden.
