Back to Bin Basics - The Grove

Join WMRC at our fun, inclusive workshop to learn the basics of waste sorting at home.

What will you learn?

• How to sort your household waste into your 3-bin system at home.
• What happens to recycling, FOGO, and general waste.
• What happens to your verge bulk and green waste after it leaves the kerb.
• The history of Perth waste management and what led us to our current systems.

Light refreshments and snacks are provided. 

What to bring?
Attendees are invited to bring one clean waste item that they struggle to recycle.

Who can attend?
This is a great workshop for people new to Subiaco or Perth, if you need help with waste sorting, and those starting their waste management or sustainability journey. 

Kids are welcome with an adult present.

Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge, Nedlands and residents from other councils.
