🍫 Shadow Work with Cacao Ceremony: Begin our journey with a sacred Cacao Ceremony, inviting the heart-opening magic of ceremonial-grade cacao to guide us into the depths of our subconscious. Let the elixir of cacao illuminate our inner shadows, providing insight and clarity for our inner exploration. 🍃

🩰 Somatic Movement and Dance: Express and release your inner shadows through Somatic Movement and Dance. Move intuitively and freely, allowing your body to guide you in a dance of self-discovery and emotional liberation. Feel the energy flow as you connect deeply with your inner self, transforming shadows into light. 💃

🌬️ Breathwork for Inner Exploration: Engage in guided Breathwork practices designed to deepen your inner exploration. Through intentional breathing, we invite the shadows to come forth, acknowledging them with love and acceptance as integral parts of our being. 🌀

Guided by compassionate facilitators, this evening promises a courageous journey of self-discovery and growth as we embrace our shadows with open hearts and minds. Join us as we illuminate the path to inner light through the exploration of our inner shadows.

Contra-Indications of Breathwork Please read the next section VERY thoroughly.

Breathwork is an incredibly powerful modality that creates both physiological and energetic shifts, RAPIDLY. Therefore, for safety purposes, I do not allow persons with the following conditions to participate without customizing their experience.

If you have any of the following contraindications, please do not hold your breath, even when instructed. Always breathe through breath-holds.

Gratefully, relaxation breathing techniques, like Inhale-4 and Exhale-4, or Inhale-2 and Exhale-4 don’t create hypoxia and are therefore, safe to practice at all times :)

Listed below are the medical and psychiatric Contra-indications. Please notify me if you are affected by any of the following:

Physical Contraindications

● Cardiovascular issues

● Glaucoma

● High blood pressure (Over time, if untreated, it can cause health conditions, such as heart disease and stroke) Deep-breathing lowers blood pressure.

● Epilepsy

● Detached Retina (Retinal detachment separates the retinal cells from the layer of blood vessels that provides oxygen and nourishment).

● History of strokes or seizures

● Aneurysm or family history of aneurysm. (Burst blood vessels in the brain).

● Blood thinning medication. (Unfortunately, the blood thinners used to prevent such blood clots can increase the risk of bleeding in the brain, a cause of hemorrhagic stroke).

● Pregnancy or possible pregnancy

● Asthma

Mental Contraindications

● Substance dependence & addiction (Deep breathwork journeys are not always appropriate for those who are still addicted to a substance, as it tends to raise suppressed or repressed material for processing. However, if you’re currently in recovery, this can be extremely healing, and help you discover the deeper patterns that gave rise to this addiction. (Grof, 1985: 267 – 268).

● Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis

● Hospitalisation for emotional crises in the last 10 years (Participant must get therapist’s approval to participate before you register).

● Psychological conditions and diagnoses, which preclude safe emotional release.

If you’re unsure about health conditions, please consult and gain permission from your doctor before progressing
