Motown magic meets rising stars

Experience the soulful sounds of Motown and beyond as local blues legend Buddy Knox proudly presents Soul Connections—a group of talented singers he has mentored.

This dynamic lineup features performers with incredible stories and achievements, including Aimee, who reached the Top 12 on The Voice; Kyla-Belle, a National Busking Championships Runner-up; and Noah, winner of the Coca-Cola Talent Encouragement Award. Joining them are Taylor, a gifted songwriter recognised with the Buddy Knox scholarship, and Dani, a graduate of the Aboriginal Centre of Performing Arts. Rita-May, Annemarie, Shontae, and Quarralia bring powerful vocals and unique artistry, blending original songs, rap, and soulful melodies.

Accompanied by the Conservatorium’s house band, these artists will light up the stage with harmonies, rhythm, and passion.
