Join internationally acclaimed Bansuri Maestro Vinod Prasanna and Indian Slide Guitarist Shivam Rath for an intimate evening exploring the living traditions of Raga, Bhakti and Nāda Yoga based on the Indian Classical System and ancient devotional songs (Bhajans) in an intimate temple setting within Byron Bay's Serene Earth Sanctuary.

Unlike a traditional classical concert or Kirtan gathering, Raga Flow gently integrates both worlds allowing the listeners audience participation to taste and explore the world of raga in a unqie seamless musical journey while still feeling the positive group energy of a kirtan atmosphere

—from the heartfelt simplicity of devotional mantra into the profound beauty and improvisational depth of India's ancient classical music.

From shared voice and sacred chants, into the spellbinding magic of meditative Ragas, where melody becomes a vehicle for deep listening, contemplation and connection be prepared to flow across a vast spectrum of melodious sounds. As the journey continues, the boundaries between audience and performer soften, inviting everyone to experience the emotional colours (rasa) and living essence of Raga from within, which normally takes years for a student to access in this way.

Born into one of India's most distinguished flute-playing families, Vinod Prasanna continues a musical lineage spanning more than 250 years. Winner of the prestigious Sahara All India Flute Competition, Vinod has performed throughout India, Europe, Japan and Australia, captivating audiences with his expressive artistry and authentic command of the Hindustani classical tradition.

Founder of Soul Sangeet and Raga Retreats, Shivam Rath has dedicated over a decade to studying Indian Classical Music under respected masters from India and Australia. His work bridges Raga, Yoga, meditation and devotional practice, creating immersive experiences that honour tradition while making these timeless teachings accessible to contemporary audiences as well as pioneering the unique Crystal Slide style and approach to his instrument.
