Either way, know that we created this event for you! Delve in and have a yummy SoulPlay good time celebrating the unique wonderfulness that is the BIPOC/ People of The Global Majority community.
What Can You Expect at SoulPlay BIPOC CONNECT?
Our goal is to create an environment that invites all Black, Indigenous, Melanated Peoples (People of Color) to be centered, honored and restored for the gifts we bring to the world and the labor we do to SHOW UP in spaces with unrecognized privilege. Come recharge, connect and remember the legacy of our inherent beauty. We’ll have activities to get you in your body and shake off your week, music to get you moving and awesome people to connect with!
We believe in acceptance, curiosity, intimacy, playfulness, consent, and authenticity at SoulPlay. These values form the foundation of our event philosophy and guide us as we create events that bring people together in meaningful ways. We strive to ensure that every interaction at BIPOC Connect—short or long—is based on these values so that each person can feel supported and free to express themselves without judgment or fear.
In support of this, note that this event is an alcohol and substance free event. It's an opportunity to practice being present, while connecting in community. Come join the BIPOC leaders, presenters, movers and groovers and see what the SoulPlay hype is all about.
Tickets - Sliding scale $25 - $40 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR:
This event is only for folks who self-identify as BIPOC. There are many places for other folks to connect in the SoulPlay community and we LOVE that this event is just for folks who need and deserve a special place to call their own!
COVID POLICY:
If you have been around large groups, risky containers, or are not feeling well, please take a covid test and/or consider staying home. Wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable and communicate with us if you test positive after the event.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Shawnrey Notto is a #1 Amazon best selling author and facilitator on Sensuality and Joy, as well as a dancer/choreographer with over 4 million views on YouTube. As a former "good girl" and people pleaser, she knows what it's like to feel shut down, disconnected from the body and your power. This is why she's so passionate about guiding sensitive, creative, (secret) romantics, to reclaim pleasure and full-self expression, so that they can savor life with joy, and even write their soul book.

Have fun, express yourself, and master the art of being unapologetically, sensually, and exquisitely you. In this workshop we will explore the 7Ps of Sensual Expression: Pleasure, Play, Passion, Psyche, Philosophy, Power, and Peace.
