- Balance your divine masculine and feminine energies
- Contribute to a group mandala
- Hear from an amazing speaker
- Enjoy space for self reflection or try West African drumming
- Meet like-minded soulful women
- Eat yummy food
- Be inspired for the rest of 2024!
Winter solstice is the longest night of the year and this time provides a beautiful canvas for contemplation and introspection, completion and renewal. At this time, we connect deeply within, reflecting on the past year, releasing anything that no longer serves us and setting intentions for a new year to come. As women, when we go deep within, balancing our divine inner masculine and feminine energies, transmuting our darkness into light, we restore balance and create a sacred space for rebirth for our selves and the evolution of our world.
MEET SOME OF YOUR FACILITATORS
To open the day, we will enjoy a beautiful sound healing with Gillian J Tubbs to bring us into our centres, and attune and balance our energies around this powerful natural cycle.
We will then hear from a wonderful speaker, Kirsty Greenshields. When this high-achieving Army Intelligence Officer succumbed to anxiety and depression, she realised she could no longer suffer in silence and redesigned her life. Becoming a naturopath turned Lead Facilitator for the Emergent Leaders Foundation, Kirsty found her authentic voice to inspire and lead others. Through her fascinating life story and infectious energy, she shares her wisdom, assisting others to awaken something within and live a more powerful life – not a fairytale life – in which challenges make them stronger and help them create greater meaning for themselves and the world around them.
For those that like to get their groove on, you will have the opportunity to try West African drumming with passionate long time teacher and performer, Heather Elwell. Heather leads the Loose Grooves African Drumming group in the Northern Rivers, a space for creativity and experiencing the joy, rejuvenation and healing that flows naturally from discovering your innate sense of rhythm. (Please note this activity has maximum space for 12).
