Sound Activation

Event description

Activating your own energy kickstarts so many good processes in the body. It’s a way to rewire outmoded thinking patterns, resource new energy in the day-to-day and increase clarity in our thoughts words, and actions. On the one hand, there is relaxation, on the other there is activation. Locked inside each one of us is a whole bunch of good energy that is waiting to be unleashed.

There is a way of being in the world that is calm and relaxed, yet potent and energised simultaneously. This workshop is designed to uncover this part and create dramatic life changes for the positive. Think of it as a one-way roller door into a new sense of self.

Si utilises the unique vibrating floor of the Humming Hive to take the group on an adventure through frequencies, primal sound & breath to uncover aquifers of hidden energy stashed inside ourselves.

About Si:

As a younger man, Si quit studying medicine at the University of Western Australia to hitchhike across Australia and be a didgeridoo player before he knew how to play the instrument.

Years later, Si was the only white didge player to be featured in the Sydney Olympics didgeridoo documentary. After this, he was invited to Arnhem Land by a high elder for personal teaching.

Since then, Si has played at the Sydney Opera House; was employed as the didge player for Cirque de Sole all across Europe, and at one stage was signed to the UK’s leading record label.

Si now resides in Fremantle, where he combines drums, percussive flamenco guitar, and naked voice.
