Sound Advice: 10 Years of NLV Records
Event description
On the eve of the 2025 ARIA Awards, join us for a special conversation with Australian electronic music icon Nina Agzarian (Nina Las Vegas) to talk 10 years of NLV Records and the rise of Ninajirachi.
There are few figures more commanding in the local and international dance landscape than Nina Agzarian. Global touring artist, radio icon, respected curator and producer, and the brain and heart behind NLV Records, Nina has been breaking down boundaries and nurturing new talent for more than a decade.
In 2025, she celebrates 10 years of NLV, her multi-faceted entity that has become a recognised go-to outlet for forward-thinking underground club music. Home to exciting artists like Anna Lunoe, Gold Fang, Big Skeez, Laces, dameeela, 1300, FOURA, UNiiQU3 and more, 2025’s breakout star has undoubtedly been Ninajirachi, whose debut LP ‘I Love My Computer’ has been shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize, as well as leading ARIA nominations with nods across eight categories.
Join for a conversation hosted by EMC’s Jane Slingo to hear about Nina’s experiences as an independent record label trailblazer, a global touring artist and a world class tastemaker. Their wide-ranging conversation will look at her commitment to inclusivity and a DIY mentality, approach to successful artist campaigns, cultivating longevity via building community and celebrate the growing successes of women in the electronic scene.
Held at one of Sydney’s most iconic and longest running venues, Club 77, which continues to endure as a vital hub for local nightclub culture and a progressive platform for the city’s best parties.
