Time: 7:15pm – 8:15pm
In this masterclass, Eora-based artist DEVAURA and her manager Jannah Beth will break down the strategies behind building a distinct and individual identity. They will explore the role of authenticity in branding and marketing and how this has shaped DEVAURA's journey as an artist.
Born in Aotearoa, and based in Eora, DEVAURA is a rising star in Australian music, known for her powerful vocals, genre-blending soundscapes, and authentic storytelling. She broke through in 2023 with powerful performances and has since earned major accolades, including Triple J Unearthed Laneway Competition Winner 2025, the 2024 Acclaim Magazine x PUMA Wildcard Award, FBi SMAC Awards for Best Live Act & Best Emerging Act, and the Justin Cosby Best Emerging Act at SXSW Sydney 2024. As a queer, first-generation immigrant and formerly houseless artist, her music explores resilience, love, and self-discovery. With a magnetic stage presence and a live show that seamlessly fuses beats, punk-influenced guitar, and captivating vocals, DEVAURA continues to push boundaries.
As DEVAURA’s manager, Jannah leads with extensive experience in artist development, and community building. As co-founder & director of Offbeat Collective, she supports emerging talent through affordable studios and programs like the ONE OFF TRAKS writing camp and UP Next artist development. Working closely with DEVAURA across her forthcoming EP ‘Learning In Public’, the two explored avenues and strategies to deliver a fully realised artist story.
