Next in the Sound Experiment series, The Alchemy Experiment is excited to welcome DJ Eletricat for a Brazilian sounds takeover. 

Featuring an eclectic blend of authentic Brazilian songs, spanning from vintage classics to contemporary hits, Dj eletricat brings a vibrant energy to her sets. Drawing from Afro-Brazilian culture, she infuses her electrifying style known as Axé, meaning Positive Energy, creating a dynamic listening experience for all. Born in northeast Brazil but having moved to Glasgow in 1991, Dj eletricat's journey is deeply rooted in both her homeland and adopted city.

Her passion for music and dance ignited at a young age, leading her to teach dance and perform professionally by the age of 17. As Latin bars began to emerge in Glasgow, Dj Eletricat quickly made her mark, becoming a resident DJ at Havana, Cuba Norte, and eventually Favela Chic, among other venues. Not content with simply spinning tracks, she soon launched her own club night, Carnaval Club, attracting crowds hungry for authentic vibes, music, and live arts entertainment.
