Wellness is for everyone! We all deserve to feel our best and we all need to create the time to slow down, appreciate ourselves and support our wellbeing. This beautiful gathering will be my gift to you, a token of gratitude for the ongoing love and support PLUS an opportunity to support this amazing Indigenous local business.

You are invited to this unique wellness offering, it is a merging of connection to breath, gentle movement, music medicine and time to connect over a delicious meal. We will be creating a safe, restorative and accessible space to receive and to calm the nervous system.

About your facilitator:

Gabriela was born and raised in El Salvador, Central America, she is descendant of the Pipil/Mayan civilizations.
Gabriela founded Nawi Wellness and is a wellness advocate, guiding wholehearted Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama breathwork classes, and unique Sound Journeys in and around the Gold Coast, as well as workshops sharing her culture and ceremonial Cacao. An intuitive musician, singer and multi-instrumentalist, who believes in the scientifically proven significant benefits of sound therapy & sacred sounds. In addition to her cultural roots Gabriela has studied Cacao with wisdom keepers from the Americas and has received guidance on preparing Cacao and holding sacred space.

About the event:

During Sound Flow Connect, we will be focusing on somatic practices, including conscious breathing, gentle Yoga and sound relaxation via a Sound Shower. Mindful breathing can activate the body's relaxation response and with regular practice, can enhance overall wellbeing. Connected movement of the body, can support our physical, mental and emotional state, by mitigating symptoms of anxiety. depression, sleeping issues and fatigue. Sound is also a powerful support to our wellness, as the music vibrations can affect our mental and emotional levels. This is a special offering which inspires exploration and expansion to restore internal balance with the timeless power of movement to breath connection, contemplation and nature's sounds. This event was designed to promote holistic health and wellness, helping us gain a deeper appreciation of life, reminding us of our true essence. Pease arrive by 9:45am as we will start our class at 10am, finishing 11-11:15am. Following this we can go downstairs to the café for our special selection of meal and drink. Stay as long as you want, eating, meeting new friends and enjoying some much needed "disconnect to connect" time.

Yes! This is not an ordinary wellness event, this is my gift to you and an opportunity to connect more deeply with me and with likeminded humans. Electronics are discouraged and face to face social interaction will be the focus after our class. SOBAH will be preparing a meal and drink of your choice, they have put together a special menu just for us!

Savour the flavours of Australia after your Sound Flow Connect event, with options like juicy Davidson plum Crocodile ribs, or tropical pan-seared Barramundi with finger-lime and coconut. Delightful plant-based options include Lemon myrtle crusted eggplant tenders or macadamia nut balls with rosella jam and mash. Each dish is paired with your choice of drinks and designed to enhance your wellness journey, harmonising within the tranquil atmosphere and great company.

What to bring:

-Yoga mat, water bottle, blankets, cushions or pillows, warm layers, comfortable clothing, something to cover your eyes with.

-If you are experiencing injury, mobility issues or discomfort on a mat, please get in touch as we can allow for a number of participants to use chairs at this event.

- Mobility: Please note there are a number of stairs to get to the art space for our class and back down these stairs afterwards for our meal & connection time.

SOBAH is a beautiful Indigenous Non-alcoholic Brewery, Café and Art space nestled in the heart of Burleigh. The first and only of its' kind in Australia. SOBAH provides wholesome experiences via their brewery tours, signature wellness classes, markets and workshops. Looking forward to sharing the SOBAH x Nawi Wellness experience with you!
