The HYHO (Heal Yourself, Heal Others) Sound Healer Training Retreat is a 5-day immersive experience exploring how vibration influences the nervous system, emotional states, and the body’s natural ability to restore balance.
This training blends spiritual practices with evidence-based lessons, giving you both the deeper philosophy of sound and the practical skills needed to confidently work with it.

Day 1

Day 2-4

• Go deep into practice with the voice, singing bowls, tuning forks, and more

Certification
Participants receive:
• 40-hour sound healer certification
• 4.5 days of in-person training (7 hours per day)
• Hands-on instrument instruction
• A curriculum blending the science and spirituality of sound

Instructor
Avi Sherbill is the founder of SoundRx and a certified sound practitioner with a background in sound production and TV/film music composition. Since 2018, he has guided soundbaths and trainings for students around the world.

FAQs
- Who is this training for?
This training is designed for both beginners and experienced practitioners. Many students come from backgrounds in yoga, therapy, coaching, bodywork, meditation, or energy work, but no prior experience with sound healing is required.
It’s also appropriate for people who simply feel called to explore sound as a personal healing practice.
- Do I need instruments to attend?
No instruments are required to attend the training. Instruments will be available during the workshop for learning and practice.
If you already have bowls, tuning forks, or other instruments, you’re welcome to bring them.
- What certification will I receive?
Students who complete the training receive:
• 40-hour sound healer certification
These certifications recognize completion of the HYHO training and your understanding of the foundational practices taught in the program. The HYHO certification is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association.
- What will I be able to do after the training?
By the end of the training, you will understand how to:
• Facilitate sound baths
• Use crystal bowls, tuning forks, and voice with confidence
• Structure sessions for individuals or groups
• Work with sound to support nervous system regulation and relaxationMany students begin offering sound sessions shortly after completing the training.
- What makes this training different from others?
HYHO blends spiritual traditions of sound with modern scientific understanding of vibration and the nervous system.
The focus is not only on instruments, but on learning how to listen, guide, and create meaningful sound experiences in a grounded and responsible way.
- Is accommodation included?
Accommodation for 5 nights is included. You may choose between a single private room or shared double room. Each type has its own bathroom.
You may also choose to get your own accommodation nearby.
- How far is the training from the airport?
The training takes place at La Corte dei Signoretti in Canale Monterano which is approximately 38 miles (60 km) or 50 minutes from Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome.
- Are meals included?
A healthy, fresh daily breakfast is included along with juice and snacks.
Water and light snacks will be provided during the training.
Each day we will take a 45-min lunch break, and there are many great restaurants and cafes nearby. You are also welcome to bring your own food.
