Sound Samadhi kirtan group warmly welcome you to another KIRTAN and sound healing on Saturday 27 November on ZOOM! We are offering this online again so as to give everyone an opportunity to be together, connect and sing again in the virtual realms!

We will offer a meditation, kirtans and a short sound healing and there will be a chance for anyone in the community to connect afterwards.

It is a really challenging time right now, so the power of kirtan can really help us to connect with the source of light and strength within, and also facilitate a collective field of love and compassion and connection which is so needed right now.

So we would love you to come and join us in generating this field of possibility while also allowing all your emotions to flow and be transformed by our collective energy and medicine of the mantras!

What to BRING or PREPARE:

Your precious selves…in whatever state they may be in! Set up a nice cosy space to settle in for the meditation and kirtan and sound healing. Prepare a CANDLE for your space which we will also share with each other!!

WHAT ‘SAMADHI’ AND KIRTAN IS

Samadhi is the supreme state of liberation or bliss, which is the ultimate goal of all yoga. Kirtan is an ancient yogic practice, combining mantra, music, meditation & the heart, which can offer us a taste of this Samadhi through sound.

Kirtan is a sacred spiritual singing practice for the upliftment of everyone, regardless of caste, creed, worldly status or religious inclination. You don’t need any prior experience to take part. This is your personal connection to the divine through your unique voice and heart, carried by the collective energy of the group and music.

SOUND SAMADHI GROUP

Sound Samadhi have been offering kirtan and sound healing since 2011. The core group currently comprises Garry Luke, Jiva Berry, Geeti and Gyan and they are joined by special guests from time to time. Sound Samadhi fuses the traditional with the contemporary and includes a variety of instruments including harmonium, guitar, Indian and western drums, manjira, flute and bass guitar.
