EVENT UPDATE: Unfortunately Cass Greaves is unwell and will not be performing tonight. In her place, we have blues royalty Sally King stepping up to the throne tonight!

SALLY KING is considered blues royalty and a pioneer of women in blues in the Sydney blues scene. She has worked with the likes of Bo Diddley, Jimmy McGriff, Hightide Harris, Jacky Orzarsky. Sally is truly blessed with an irresistibly authentic voice that settles into the groove from the first note. Whether singing her own beautifully crafted songs or putting a unique stamp on classic - audiences warm instantly to Sally’s vibrant stage presence. The fabulous Sally King is the real deal.

Do you travel in a body that is continuously silenced, excluded, and overlooked in live music spaces?

Jazz bores slowing your broom down?

Is the spice you bring to a witch's brew too strong for the patriarchal palette?

Does music always have to be stripped of its magick in order to be consumable?

To break the hex we’re starting at the place where voices can be heard for the first time, and connections can be conjured: The Jam.

We’re brewing up a concoction with the following ingredients:

killer house band of women and gender diverse mofos
featured artists from diverse backgrounds
Wheelchair accessible queer venue
Vibes, vibes, vibes

Instead of stifling your vulnerability, squandering confidence, and indulging in toxic competition, why not help us co-create a space where we celebrate each other's uniqueness.
