The Sound Sorcery Team (supported by City of Sydney, Pleasure Club, and Sydney Band Instruments) 
are proud to present: 

Sound Sorcery 2026 @ The Pleasure Club, Newtown.

(a women and trans-led project of 8 x fortnightly jams at The Pleasure Club starting February 2026). 

Access Note: The Pleasure Club is a wheelchair accessible venue with lift access. The lift (shared with the residential building above) is located via King St. If you’d like to use this entrance, we’re happy to meet you at the main entrance and guide you there.

Please note that the bar is not at wheelchair height. If you require assistance ordering drinks, our staff or your support person can help.

To break the hex we’re starting at the place where voices can be heard for the first time, and connections can be conjured: The Jam. 

We’re brewing up a concoction with the following ingredients: 

• killer house band of women and gender diverse mofos

• featured artists from diverse backgrounds

• Wheelchair accessible queer venue 

• Vibes, vibes, vibes

Instead of stifling your vulnerability, squandering confidence, and indulging in toxic competition, why not help us co-create a space where we celebrate each other's uniqueness.
