Event description

Sound Texture is a performance collaboration between Swiss percussionist Fritz Hauser and the Victorian tertiary percussion community. Percussion students from the Australian National Academy of Music, Monash University Percussion Studio and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music come together in concert for the first time, to perform ensemble works by Fritz Hauser. This free concert includes snare drum quartet Le Souvenir (ANAM), cymbal duo Zeichnung (Monash), Fritz Hauser Solosnare (Fritz) and large ensemble work Schraffur (ANAM, Monash, Melbourne Con, Fritz).
