SOUND THE ALARM... BOMBS DON'T SAVE LIVES.
Description
SOUND THE ALARM: Bombs don't save lives
For over two years now, the Genocide in Gaza has continued and spread. Now, with the Iranian community being bombed from above and attacked from within, with Southern Lebanon being decimated by bombs and chemical weapons, and the West Bank seeing murderous attacks ramping up while the Board of Peace divides and distributes the wealth of the Gaza Strip, we find ourselves at an impasse.
Music can't save lives, but it can enrich our lives.
This is an event from the creative music community to the broader community, helping raise funds for food, water, aid, and whatever money can do. And it's a chance to be together in sound – to scream and cry, or sit in silence in the aftermath of grief.
Sound the Alarm is an evolving project, and so this edition will feature a new and beautiful combination of musicians from the jazz and experimental music community.
